The number of stairs is noted in your contract and is already factored into the all-inclusive price confirmed with our moving sales teams. You can rest easy knowing there won’t be any hidden fees or surprise charges during your move.
What are your payment options?
Flexdolly accepts Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, business checks, and cash. Payment is required in full before your belongings are unloaded.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book my move?
Yes, a $50-$150 deposit secures your moving date and crew. This deposit is nothing extra and it will be applied toward the total cost of your move.
Do I tip my movers? If so, how much?
Tipping your movers is not required, but it’s a nice way to show appreciation for their hard work. If you’re happy with your Flexdolly moving team, a 15-20% tip of the total moving cost is a common practice. While a “thank you” is always appreciated, tipping helps acknowledge the movers’ effort and dedication, especially after a tough job. What if I want to cancel my move?
If you need to cancel your move, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a full refund of your $50-$150 deposit, which will be processed within 2-4 business days. However, if you fail to cancel within the 48-hour window, you will forfeit your deposit. Giving us enough notice allows us to keep our trucks on schedule and ensures efficient service for all clients.

Yes, all of your belongings are covered by basic insurance as required by the Department of Transportation. This free coverage provides $0.60 per pound per item. This allows you to select the level of liability and deductible that fits your needs, giving you extra peace of mind during your move.

How should I pack if I'm doing it myself?
Keep similar items together, pack items from the same furniture piece together, use small boxes for books and CDs, use medium boxes for fragile items and electronics, use large boxes for clothes and linens, and keep the weight of each box under 50 pounds. If you can lift the box yourself, it’s good to go!
Do I need to empty my drawers and cabinets?

How late will the movers work?
Flexdolly movers work until the job is complete, even if it requires working overnight. We don’t stop until your move is finished—unless there are building restrictions.
How long will my move take?

How will movers know what to take?

Can I ride with the movers in the truck?
No, for safety and insurance reasons, customers aren’t allowed to ride in the truck with our movers.
